Janine Marie Lindemulder (born November 14, 1968), also known as Janine Marie James, is an American exotic dancer and adult film actress, best known for her work in American pornographic films (typically credited as just Janine) during the mid-1990s and a 2004–2005 comeback. Lindemulder has appeared in several music videos for bands including Blink-182 as well as appearing on the band’s Enema of the State album cover.

3I went in to Vivid in ’93 knowing exactly what I was willing to do and I never faltered from that. I said, this is it, take it or leave it. They would joke around from time to time, but it was never up for negotiation. I wasn’t trying to be a hard-ass, but I was clear that I didn’t want people trying to persuade me into something I wasn’t ready to do. They always knew that when I was ready I would come to them and that is exactly what I did.
4I wasn’t thrilled with ‘legitimate movies’. I didn’t care for the people. They were shallow and didn’t care about people’s feelings.
5I had heard that many women in this business come from abusive childhoods which I think is a real shame. I had a really normal childhood, with one sister who is a year younger than me and we always did stuff together. I have no brothers. I did all of the normal things you do while growing up – I was always on a softball team, my Dad was the coach, my Mom was the manager and I won four scholarships for softball. Of course there were some problems, every family is dysfunctional, but I only have happy memories.
