Kate Hudson is giving the people what they want.
After years of wowing fans with her singing skills during TV appearances here and there, the actress has decided to finally pursue music.
On Monday, the Bride Wars actress shared two photos of herself singing on a stage with a guitarist and film crew behind her.
"Finally realized it's time to say f#%! it and saaaannngg!!!!!" the 43-year-old actress captioned the post. She also added the hashtags #albumincoming and #myikigai, which is a Japanese concept meaning a person's sense of purpose or reason for being.
In the comments, friends who've long pushed for Hudson to publicly show off her voice shared their excitement.
"YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS FCKING about time woman! ππ π€," designer and fashion entrepreneur Rachel Zoe wrote.
"Fuck this is exciting," model and actress Poppy Delevingne added.

Hudson recently flaunted her musical talent during an appearance on NBC's That's My Jam, during which she belted out a sultry, doo-wop version of Ariana Grande's "7 Rings," earning praise from just about everyone, including Grande herself.
"Stunning perfect gorgeous," Grande commented on Hudson's Instagram post featuring a video of her performance. "May we have this on all streaming services please?"
At the time, stars couldn't stop gushing about Hudson's singing.
"@katehudson your singing is so wonderful," actress Drew Barrymore wrote.
"YOU NAILED ITππ½ππ½," Queer Eye star Tan France commented.
"This is beyond @katehudson please please just make an album!!! Been asking for decades ππππ," Rachel Zoe pleaded.
Hudson hasn't given fans any clues about what her album will sound like, but many hope it will include a rendition of "You're So Vain," which she famously sang alongside Matthew McConaughey in their 2003 rom-com, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
